Caltona Leadership
Caltona is led by Brian Martin, an experienced C-suite advisor with over 15 years’ industry experience and 10 years consulting experience in strategy development and transformational change:

Prior to Caltona, Brian led the PwC Scottish Consulting business for 5 years where he was responsible for selling and delivering strategy and transformational change consulting projects to leading companies. Brian was also a Senior Manager with Accenture Strategic Services for 5 years where he led the delivery of strategy formulation projects for a wide range of international clients.
Between 2002 and 2004 Brian was the MD of Shanks Plc (Scotland), a £50m loss making industrial services business employing 300 people where he returned the business to profit after conducting a strategic review and leading the delivery of a transformation programme.
After graduating Brian followed a 10 year structured career path with ICI in engineering, plant operations and supply chain management roles
Brian has a degree in Physics and Electronic Engineering from Glasgow University, an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School, an MSc in International Marketing from Strathclyde University, a Diploma in Company Direction from the IOD and is a Chartered Electrical Engineer.
As a recognised specialist in business and operational strategy and in transformational change, Brian teaches part time on a number of Strathclyde University MBA and Corporate Executive Education programmes.
Caltona uses a number of experienced associate consultants as required. Each of our consultants has deep consulting, functional and sectoral experience. Brian Martin takes the lead and is responsible for all client engagements.
